In the past mrn only did dangerous jobs, hard jobs and so on, today many women share responsibilities and duties much more similar to what is expected from men, and it is more common to see men that refuse to put themselves in such situations and have the means to avoid them, so... let's say that if I was a woman today I would not be very pleased.
The situation for us men is very annoying, but for them it is much more actually concerning.
If I was a woman today I would be so terribly envious of the women in the past and probably I would hatye men for being forced to work while so many women in the previous generations just did a few chores at home (and the "luckiest" -I mean rich- ones not even those chores).
You can call it as you want the substance of what I'm saying remains the same.
In the past this "infantilization" was given to most women no matter what - even forced if they were dumb enough to not want it, today a lot less women are allowed to live that way while it has become possible for many men to choose to live that way.
As annoying as it can be this outer layer of mockery I still prefer my condition as a man today tather than it would have been decades or centuries ago.
It does not matter how much praise I received if I am severely harmed or even dead because of the dangers and hardships I'm exposed to.
