Okay but you're not going to be playing exclusives the entirety of your time owning a playstation so what even is the point? The xbox still has a bigger library all together and they don't force you to pay for backwards compatibility like sony. And with game pass and the recent aqcuisition of bethesda, there is literally no reason not to get an xbox.
1 the right time to start saving for a new pc is : when you just got one!
a new pc every 3-4 years can already be done for a measely 30 euro a month.. (though thats for cheap lowend 1200 euro pcs.. 50-70 euro a month is what an average gamer with a midrange 2000-3000 euro pc will budget.
unless you are in some third world country thats lile 2 or 3 hours of minimumwage work a month.. even delivering newspapers 30 minutes a day as a small kid earns you more than that.
the problem 99% of time people cannot budget. they waste their money each month than when something break oh no need a new one. not have money..
you must set everything you own clothing furniture your car your electronics everything in a table than per item you write down how long it will last from the moment you bought it.. in months than how much a new one cost.. divide the two and you got the real montly cost of your lifestile set that amount apart each month and not use ir for your regulair groceries.
if that leaves you to little to live off you are living above your means and must cut costs somewhere accept you cant affore to own a car or that you must not dress as fancy just look what of your lifestile you are most willing to compromise..
and now when something breaks you gave the money saved up to replace it.
dont get why so few people do this.
900 euro can get you
a ryzen 5600 (or even 7600)
a radeon 6650xt
16gb ddr4 (or 32gb)
a 27 inch 1440x2560 ips monitor with 1ms responce time and 144hz
a 1tb m.2
and the case, cpu cooler and motherboard to glue it all together.
thats enough to get you low end gaming again. and still a much better experience than a bloody ps5
I don't play online, so no subscription needed. I don't care about Gamepass and it's rare I'll get a Bethesda game anyway.
Usecases are different for every person. For me, if I want a console, there literally is no reason to get an xbox over the ps this generation.
