Has anyone tried a service like Shadow cloud PC?
Has anyone tried a service like Shadow cloud PC? (Its a service where you go online to use a remote gaming pc. Until I upgrade in a 1.5 months i was considering using it. Just wondering if anyones tried that service or a service like that or could recommend a service similar to that. Thanks :skknight:

Edit: Yes Im older and have been living under a rock and had never heard of this type of service until today.

no... why would I pay to use a fraction of someone else's PC? they're obviously profiting off of it.

Never

The ownership of hardware will never die

I only used Xbox cloud gaming, and Nvidia GeForce now to play games at school, and that’s what those services are for (or if your PC sucks, but I learned how to cope with that, and learned that cloud gaming is not the way to cope with that)

wtf you gonna do if the power goes out? how you gonna access your cloud games? with your electric car?

THIS IS ANOTHER REASON TO PROVE HARDWARE NEVER DIES

I was in a power outage once with a laptop (my curse becomes my blessing), and I didn’t realize it went out because I was playing Diablo I ON MY PHYSICAL LAPTOP and I was so oblivious to the outage that my dad had to call me from downstairs to ask what I was doing, and after I told him I realized there was a power outage

I played a little bit of World at War after that, and then realized I wouldn’t have enough battery life to last the entire time, so I went outside, touched grass, and met up with my friends that I rarely see (we used to be outside almost every day as children, AND SOME OF US ARE STILL CHILDREN, like literally I think at least one of us still hasn’t reached high school yet)

I mean id be using it for like a month until I upgrade so I’m not expecting long term issues like power outages.
