Decision by New York Supreme Court on Trump over taking away his businesses is unfair and un-American, whether you love the guy, you hate the guy, or are neutral.

Is it fair to work your whole life and then bam the normal way of doing business is disrupted. Why do you need bank loans and insurance fees and all that legalistic jargon. Why?

Trump didnt put a gun to the insurance companies/banks heads to get better deals or loans. There was valuations and those are often opinions and if its too much of a consensus of opinion well that can also be racketeering.

So opinions can vary and why wouldnt you try to get the best deal on something that is based on opinion.

Sure he valued his assets high for the banks and lower for the government and thats gaming the system, but when the system is so expensive and requires so much effort to make money and be a big shot why is there so much vindictivness and attrition as this is how business was done.

I just dont like this politics where the state is stronger than the individual when the state is nothing without individuals and unique individuals at that and no individual is perfect no matter who they might be.

Sure we want a template to create and perpetuate a state with a safe and sound environment for all but taking stuff away is unfair, and akin to bad parenting.

And dont forget all the situations where the state has made bad decisions and cost its citizens aplenty in not just money but also health.

Who will actually ever want to work if they cant ever get ahead and feel dehumanized by people making and upholding bad laws, or even bad policy that tanks their pensions, or the new kid with their uppity opinion.

And while I am at it scrap all taxes too. After all the government just prints more money, spends more than it has, and costs you 25% to 60% of your time depending where you live and your salary bracket.

Society doesnt deserve to exist with too many inane laws.

Today, States are just as Corrupted as the White House is,
even Illinois has caved over Migrants coming to Illinois, &
Illinois doesn't want Migrants coming to America, but the
State is saying it's going to hapen weather we want it, or not...

The problem is, if only one Person does this? This isn't going to work,
the only thing that will get done, is you run out of money, but if a large
sum of people do this, then things get really interesting, because then
the Government has a problem they can't do anything about...

The Government can raise costs of food & everything to push you,
but they can't take your homes away, if you don't go to work,
because they need you to Repo Houses, & if they don't have you,
they can't Repo anyone's houses... I seriously doub't a CEO of a
large Corporation is going to come to your house to start tearing it down,
no, that is what Citizens of America is for...

Problem is not enough People are willing to stand up, & fight this,
they are scared, & would rather just let Corporates take over...

Either way, my point is the situation is different because of how they acted. Its like two criminals caught stealing and one complies and one resists arrest. One is treated more harshly then the other and its not the one who complies.

Cannot really argue, this makes sense. My comment was more targeted towards the idea that the president (any president, mind you, my stance would be the same if this was about Biden, Obama, Bush or anyone else) can declassify stuff by just thinking it and not telling anyone and not documenting it in any way. Have heard people make that argument before and I am not buying it.

Yeah, it's the notion that if you disagree with the system or rules, that makes it OK to do anything.

Declassification is only necessary for showing documents to those without a security clearance. It is not required for someone with a security clearance to possess or view them. How high do you think a president's security clearance is?

Player of the system? The tax code is a written law. If there are tax breaks written into that code, it's not "playing the system" to use them. And you do realize that $750 is only one type of tax, for one jurisdiction, right? Tell me, how much did he pay in state income taxes for each state he owns a business in? How much does he pay in property taxes? Pay roll taxes? You only mention federal income. Why not the rest?
