No one hates religious people like religious people
Most persecution of the religious comes from the religious.

Look at the Anti-Muslim movement post-911. Or the Irish Troubles. Or the Middle East. Or, you know, history in sum.

Say what you want about we atheists, we're not the ones trying to kill someone because he venerates Mother Mary, it's other Christians. lol

Nope. It's a rejection thereof.

the abrahmic religions aim to hate and judge, its their very foundation.. its the result of an all-powerful god that is never doing any wrong but punish those who do him wrong.. most other religions had imperfect gods, its sad that those religions didnt survive the brutality of our big current ones

Isn't something like Christianity a rejection of something too though?

Hinduism and Zoroastrianism aren't any better.

'Jesus was a real person who said a lot of wonderful things, and ever since then people have been killing each other because they can't agree on how he said them.'

Reason, perhaps.

I kinda think Atheism kills more people than any religion atm.
MinionJoe Sep 27, 2023 @ 2:13pm
That's why it's important to make every group as diverse as possible.

Because if everyone was an atheist, then there wouldn't be anything to fight over.

Except politics. And land. And resources. And who gets the turkey leg at Thanksgiving.

Atheism has a faith that there are no gods in existence & accepts Reason
Christianity has a faith in one god (or wasn't it three gods?) & accepts, idk, Myths?

Those seem like two very different religions to me at least, idk

I mean with zoroastrianism we dont rly now how many ppl actively followed it at all, just where it was present, but its kinda 1good god vs the darkness there too.. and hinduism is kinda just depressive.. dunno why anyone follows the later at all:bagFace:

Well It gets you the fast track to finding out. And self ending is a sin in many religions. So in a religious way of thinking, its pretty smart?

Nope. One asks you to accept ideas that are contrary to reason, the other does not. It's the difference in believing a magician has great slight-of-hand skills vs believing he's actually magic.

One is reasonable, the other hilariously insulting to the intelligence.

I am baffled as to why Christianity has more followers than Atheism then. I myself like to follow the intelligence but I also liked how some parts of Christianity taught me the foundations of right from wrong & gave me good morality, but for real science? The Bible is also is confusing to read & has multiple interpretations to it to further add confusion.
