Is "systemrequirementslab.com" safe to use?
Exactly what it says on the tin. I know I might be being a bit paranoid here, but I don't want to risk anything happening to my new computer.

Yes, it's safe. I use it myself.

it's easy to use if you don't know where to go to view your specs.
But you could always check yourself.

I used to use it for my laptop but I found it to be inaccurate.

It's safe, just don't rely on it when it comes to intergrated graphics.

I concur, while safe to use, it can be very inaccurate.

This^. I used it a few times for fun and had it tell me I couldn't run games that I already had run perfectly fine, one or two even on highest settings.

I used it at once point, I think. "You can't run Skyrim!" Actually, yes I can, on higher than max settings.

Just don't use it at all, really.

It's very inaccurate from my experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

Wow! Higher than max settings? Like the amps Spinal Tap uses? Haha! Sorry, I couldn't help it.

Use Linux, if you are so worried about safety (which is understandable).

It's safe, but I wouldn't call it reliable.

You'd be best to compare your systems manually, as the site isn't terribly accurate.

My antivirus program says: "The link leads to an potencially unsafe website". But my question is another one: Does somebody know, which program starts to ping "www.systemrequirementslab.com/service/ping" ? It come not from myself but any program in the background do it once a day itself. There is no suspicious file or service in the task manager (Windows 8.1 Pro, Games: "Watchdog" , "Anno 1800", "Assassins Creed". Thank you !!

By the way, the IP-Checker said this:
