For some reason it only types Russian in internet browsers.

Are you sure it's "Russian"? Can you copy and paste an example of what it is typing (or post a picture of the text does not transfer properly)?

By default, ALT + SHIFT is the combination used to switch between keyboards, but it would have required the Russian and English keyboards to be activated already, and it would be activated either across the entire OS at once, or on a per-program basis, depending on settings... which could make sense if it's going off like that in the browsers only.

Which OS do you have? For Windows Vista or newer, generally you just go to the Control Panel (put it into List or Classic View) > Region and Language > Keyboards and language > Change keyboards... Select the Russian keyboard, click Remove, then apply the settings and close out.

I know, I was just typing randomly, since I don't actually speak Russian. (sadly)

Looks like someone added an extra keyboard to your computer. Does someone else use your computer? You can click on the little thing on the taskbar to switch input modes between English and Russian.

No, don't even remember how it got there, it just appeared yesterday, but now it's gone.

Might be a virus or something, extra keyboards aren't magically added to your computer.

It may be your local. My computer's local is set to Japan, so I can play japanese games while still staying in Canada. For example, I can type in english (Due to the large complexity in japanese keyboards) but if I type \ in for example, skype, I get a yen sign, which is the currency in japan. I'm not completely sure, but It's just a guess. Check your location/ time settings to see what's up. Also, try downloading Malware Bytes. It's a good program for getting rid of viruses. (Idk if you want to take advice from homestuck trash but w/e.)
