And I wonder sometimes -- will PoE 2 *ever* come out?
Runic would have done it justice, but they went bankrupt and sold it to a mobile gacha game co.
The rest is history.
The absolute worst game sequel I've ever looked forward to, in my 52 years of living.
I will never be able to say "tHeY LiEd tO mE!!!" because "they" never said jack squat to me.
Anyone who follows the hype train, they went and got themselves hyped.
I'm looking at you, angry Hello Games haters. You didn't have to watch all that stuff. Seven years later you're still full of rage at the guy. Maybe don't do that thing that you did to yourself.
Oh, I have played it several times. I keep it installed and go back to it every so often. It's a marvelous hack n slash, I admit, with amazing graphics and innovative inventory and skill mechanics. Just a bit too complex for my brain these days.
I haven't tried Van Helsing, or Last Epoch. I guess I'm waiting for Last Epoch to get "older" and more feature-rich. No excuse for not trying Van Helsing yet though.
And I will never play that free Amazon Games one. I've heard bad things about what they did to folks' accounts.
But that's what I am trying to tell you, it is complex but for instance if you focus on one thing like one build it can get manageable very fast I think if you can acclimatize to it like.. Focus and you'll be all right on top of the fact that there's a slew of information regarding the game like general game information but also build guides and strategies.
I mean assuming you have some time to put into it and well, by reading your reply it seems that you do at least dedicate some time to it which to me seems great because it's just one of those things I think that as a gamer people should experience because it tends to define the odds and make you grow essentially as a person.
For instance start with making your build as strong as you can through the use of uniques. Then, slowly switch to more powerful rares and try to understand what you need and what it is that you are doing, this way you can slowly but surely grow and progress.
I would say don't worry if you're not getting there. It took me also some considerable time before I could really expand on my build which the class of, witch I've been playing almost exclusively for a few years.
All I got was this lousy GRIP racing game.

Yeah, I paid 20 extra dollars just to play it on my birthday. But it was a gift, so I don't feel too guilty.
I'll get back to it again, I'm sure, and a little more into it each time. Last time was over a year ago, and I did end up researching the online resources you mentioned.
PoE sounds like it's your main game, and that's cool. I get it.
