Diablo 4 countdown

No.

I finished the three game of the series on all difficulties in hardcore mode. They were, and are, really special to me. However, the real life track the company has taken is unforgiveable.

The merger Activision & Blizzard (Vivendi) was immoral and should never have gone through. The resulting company should have been broken up by regulatory bodies long ago.

I preffer to play community, FLOSS versions of Diablo, or games that are based on the aesthetics and gameplay, like Torchlight, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, and so on.

To hell (pun intended) with that company and all of its directors.

For the same reason, I purpose that Star Wars is now public domain. I don't care about specific laws of the US that would make it public domain: its public domain to the common sense. People have lived rich full lives after first watching the movies centered in that universe. It is in everyone's imagination. I won't abide to the lobbies (that Disney have been financing for years) that say someone can just *buy* the rights for an idea.

Star Wars universe is open for takes. Disney doesn't own crap. It just puts a heavy amount of money into dictating the rules on "intelectual property".

It's an always online game, and there's no way to play it offline? It also has no LAN support?

If so, there is no way this can ever live up to the originals.

With that being said, I think you confuse devils with demons. They are very different and hate eachother.
