The "ooooh" "aayaaa" sound effects would've been at the director's directive.

Many old Western martial arts films (and many fighting games) are just like that: they exaggerate sound effects to keep the viewer engaged.

Fair! ^^ We each have things we like, and we each have things we find cringe. I have those too. Usually things we find cringe are things that somehow hits closer to home.

It would've been the director's decision to exaggerate sound effects- not Mr.Lee's. That's great if you had a laugh since the purpose of movies is to entertain one way or the other. <3
