Take the shot, Swek! I want to see your razzle dazzle.
How so? Humor is humor.
I'm not 100% sure but I doubt they've done anything as low brow as Bill Cosby's Spanish fly routine, so I'm going to have to chalk this one up as a no.
Yeah you are generalizing a lot
I don't get the notion that they can't do it one bit.
That's the spirit! I would like to see you bob and weave with me - with a smile.
*shows some deft footwork*
Let's start with kid punches. Save your haymaker for later - cuz I know you have one. And let's have fun for now.
100% this and how relevant it is.
also there are some women/girls who are hilarious. funny/comedy/humor is def not a male-only trait or something men have more of...not even close.
Men do too but not to that extent.
Their humor derives from a different societal perspective.
You can notice this difference by comparing male and female comedians.
I think male humor is based on observation, while female humor is based on intuition.
It can often leave their jokes feeling quite dark and judgemental.
All general ideas of course, but the difference is so noticable that society can't shake the idea that women aren't funny.
This is because it's hard to intuit generally, instead female humor is often directed at specific people in order to reveal that they understand your weakness and follies
I believe women are funny in specific cases, which is why people here are claiming it.
To that I say, some women in their life have them pegged.
I've seen women use observational humor before though. Sarah Silverman is a great example.
