Nobody would be pushing back if they kept it to themselves and didn't target groups and institutions to try to push it on. People don't want it in their schools, girls sure as hell don't want it in their sports. Nobody cares 10 years ago because 10 years ago it wasn't being shoved down everyone's throats. Budweiser is a case in point of some ESG hire trying to push it onto a consumer base that has no interest in it.
"nobody would've pushed back if we could've continued pretending you don't exist and refusing to acknowledge who you are"

Why do you require people to know you exist? Do you need attention that bad?
I think it was offensive because it was within a week of a transgender murdering 3 adults and 3 children at a Christian school when BudLight announced having a transgender as a spokesman.
I never drank that stuff anyways so can't really boycott them, but I am happy it's happening.

i'm not saying that

i'm saying it's not nice that people keep acting like we don't exist, fetishizing our identities, refusing to acknowledge who we are
especially when one of us rely on someone who does that, like a kid who relies on their parents but their parents spout transphobic nonsense so the kid can't come out to them

it's not a matter of "needing attention", it's a matter of not having our identities denied

So because quite a lot of people won't drink beer because they believe DM is prancing around mocking women by wearing womanface means that everyone now denies that transgender people exist?

Talk about false equivalencies.

Guess how many people in the world know I exist? Not many. But I'm not narcissistic enough to care. Demanding people "know you exist" is the very definition of forcing it onto them.

No one is doing any outrage, they are laughing at people throwing a tantrum just because they partnered with a trans woman and send her a can with her face on it

I agree, pouring out a bunch of beer certainly is a tantrum.

That's how boycotts work, destroy what you have and don't go somewhere else to buy it and destroy it, after all what matters to the company is your money, not what you do with their product

do you know how many non-transgenders do murder?
Maybe nobody should have any spokespeople, if we use your metric.
Okay. This doesn't make sense anymore. Perhaps at all. -.-
I got curious, so I had to look up some recent numbers...

Anheuser-Busch has lost about the same amount in market share in the past couple months as the EU has sent to Ukraine over the past couple years.

I am pretty sure no matter what someone is while murdering someone NOBODY wants to associate with them and if they happen to be of some group the NOBODY of that group would NOT want to associate with that murderer.
If someone outside the group correlates that one who is part of a certain group paint them all as that one they need to think little bit longer before deciding on their mind.

hopefully this time you don't misunderstand what i'm saying
And just think, no rioting, no looting, zero property damage, no one assaulted, no one killed. A legitimately peaceful protest that got the message across without resorting to violence.

Anheuser-Busch has lost ten times the amount in market share than was claimed in property damage at insurance companies during the Summer of 2020.
