How do you believe the world was created?

Religiously I am not too sure what I would be considered, I wouldn't say I am Atheist because I want there to be an afterlife and heaven and stuff, but I can't for the life of me devote my life to beliefs that have little physical evidence and that requires faith in order to make sense, I just don't work that way. So maybe even if there is a heaven I won't make it in, but whatever I still hope it's there for my family.

But anyways the most plausible way I see the world being created based off stuff we know today, I believe that the universe was created via the big bang, it seems there is quite a lot of evidence to support this theory, I mean we know for a fact that the universe is expanding quite rapidly, how exactly did this start? Maybe it doesn't necessarily have to be the big bang but it's very likely that is what caused it. But that isn't the only supporting evidence for the big bang, there are other things that would help prove but I don't see the point of bringing them up here so I won't, if you're curious you can look it up yourself.

So now we explained how the universe could have came into being but how did life start? My theory for this is that life is just a chemical reaction that has a slight chance of occurring in nature. What exactly does this chemical reaction do exactly? Well it creates a self replicating RNA molecule, and from there billions of years later life can become what we see here on Earth today.

How does RNA even self replicate? Well normally RNA doesn't self replicate, it's only a very specific type that can, and it's only ever been created in a lab as far as we know, but despite this I do believe it could occur out in nature. But just the fact that it can exist is honestly good enough for me, if it can exist than more than likely in this mega-space we call our universe it should happen at least once. But I doubt it would only ever happen once, so I do also believe aliens are out there, because what are the chances this chemical reaction only occurred here on Earth.

But why would a self replicating RNA molecule be able to start life as we know it. Well that is where evolution comes into play. As time goes on the RNA becomes more and more complex to better help its needs of survival, eventually it becomes a multicellular organism and from there life blossoms.

Honestly I wouldn't doubt it, look at our simulations that we could create today, think about the sims, obviously that is pretty basic but we were able to make that 20 years ago, now imagine in like 20-30 more years how advance some of our simulations will get. Who's to say we don't create a simulation that is an exact replica of our world and just let it play out. How would the organisms inside the simulation possibly know they are inside a simulation? Who's to say we were the first ones to make a simulation, what if we are many layers deep in simulations. A simulation inside a simulation inside a simulation that goes on for millions of layers. It's a real possibility I believe.

Additionally if you've ever seen Rick and Morty there was this one episode where Rick's ship battery is actually a simulation that he uses to create power, the people's entire purpose in the simulation is to create power but they are unaware, now imagine instead of a battery it was an organism, and the society was being used to keep the organism going. Could be the case maybe lol.

I mean some of the more esoteric religions such as Jewish Kabbalahism, Chrisitan Gnosism and so on do come up with some cool ideas such as the Monad, how creation came into being and so on, that when compared to the Big Bang line up in weird ways.

I do agree with OP, I am not a die-hard theist but am not sure cocky as to be a atheist, I wouldn't even say I'm a Deist though I do share some of their beliefs.

But if god is so powerful why would he need to setup things so that they happen naturally, why not just make it himself and not go through all that trouble of waiting and moving things to specific spots to be hit by certain things to create the perfect planet, I feel he could just pop one into existence with how powerful people say he supposedly is.

I thought about that before, like think about our cells, they are living things doing all these complex things who's to say they don't have minds of their own with their own society and stuff lol. I mean it seems kind of far fetched but who knows.

Does it? We naturally follow a pattern.

We are social and gather.

Gathering causes us to be destructive.

There's no getting around it.

It's natural.

There's no such thing as utopia for us.

On individual levels you can see differences easily but as a species there are huge easily identifiable patterns.

Just like anything else in the world we think we're above. We're just like cells in our body with a purpose. We don't look at all the individual cells to see little differences. We look at them as a whole and see patterns.

If you do the same thing with humans, you can see similar patterns.
