You mean he just lying to them? Like not telling Hank who he truly is? What is actual definition of "manipulating"?
subterferge designed to influence or control another to facilitate personal goals.
(had to edit twice cause I so bad at spelling designed)
This isn't manipulation. It's standing up for yourself with others and knowing that you are the one with the valued skill. If people want to also benefit from your knowledge, they have to meet your terms. You don't have to meet theirs.
That's not manipulation. Jesse, often, could just leave.
he sent him out to sell
used him a lot
he could cook and thats it. he needed everyone else to do everything else.
And that's a lesson for everyone in OT that seem to not understand that concept.
If I can go grab someone off the street to replace the job you do, you're going to be paid less. You're going to be valued less.
If I can create something that no one else can... I'm valued more. I'm paid more.
Your hollistic rhetorics doesn't mean anything.
All Walter did was being the best cook with the best recipe, all else he needed he did by manipulating everyone around him, including his own family.
Maybe people like you that not understand or see the simplicity in this are the ones that are so easily manipulated themself :)
