What is the strongest emotion you have ever experienced?
What is the strongest emotion you have ever experienced? And write about why, where, and under what circumstances. I'm genuinely interested to read about it.

Why? Why it is interesting to you and why do you care?

I will be interested to read this because learning about real-life stories of people that have evoked strong emotions in them is simply fascinating to read.

Will you share too?

I am having trouble recalling one strong emotion that stands out above the rest.

I think I have felt many emotions in extreme ways. Also I have dissociated a lot to avoid strong emotions so maybe those ones would have been at the top of the list if I had engaged with them.

This is a question about myself I cannot actually answer!
Well done OP an award is coming!

I had just woking up, the air was chilly and a putrid yet sweet smell in the air.
When I looked around, it was all foggy and with a clinical look...

The emotions I felt was a feeling of loss or grief for something lost, followed by confusion.... It all ended up in a sort of alexithymiatian moment.....

Love. Anger will give you a headache before anything comes of it, I can trick sadness. I can talk myself out of fear. Love is one of those things that you can't do much about, you can't wait it out, and the longer you dwell on it the stronger it gets.

I experienced the strongest fear when I lived in Ukraine, when there were very loud explosions outside, and the houses would shake a bit. There was a school near my house that was hit by rockets three times. Some houses had their windows blown out. Even the pets were scared. We tried to stick together, and that helped a little. The rockets usually came around 1-3 a.m. I slept in the hallway (as everyone advised, as it might save a few walls if a rocket hit), and all my belongings were also in the hallway. Honestly, I just wanted to curl up in a corner and cry. When the war had been going on for a month, I moved away to Turkey. Now, I pray every day that a rocket doesn't hit my house.

And further from the window, it was possible to see some buildings smoking from the rockets that hit them. We were constantly sitting without electricity. It was very sad and scary.

Wow
I can only imagine that experience
I have felt terror, but how would we know if that feeling was the same despite the different experiences that caused it? That is what interests me...

I can't name it cause I don't know what it is.

Had a new GF way back when I was in my teens early 20's, she was a bit older than I was and I had the keys to her apartment. One day I go there, we were supposed to go somewhere in the afternoon but I decided to go wake her up in the morning and spend the day with her. I get in without making noise since I wanted to surprise her and she's in bed sleeping with her ex. At that point I don't know , My heart is racing my mind goes numb, I can't breathe I want to do something but I don't know what, it's a bit like the feeling you must get winning the lottery but in the dark negative.
I never felt that way again it was one time too many.

I don't know if I should write this, but I'm only 14 years old and I've already been face to face with war.
