Why not? They are people who are deserving of a baseline level of respect as such, and the word incel alone isn't enough in and of itself to make inferences of their character. All it really means is that they can't get laid for whatever unknown reason.

If they self reference themselves as an incel, that is all I need to know about their character.

Someone already said, they’re incels for a reason.

EDIT: There’s a difference between an Incel and someone who can’t get laid. Incels generally have a disdain for women. That’s like, their thing.
