then you get into the criminal aspect of it... which isn't actually prositution in and of it's self is it? it's a side effect of it...
wtf page are you all on being like "oh no, it's totally abusive to pay someone for enjoyable sex!"
the problem isn't the issue at face value, it's the scumbags who involve themselves with it.
edit: kinda like the feminists who can't conceptualise someone wanting to be a mother raising a family... because every woman wants to work a BS job and fight for rights when they realistically are just "fakin it til they makin it" like every other moron but pretending they so much better and shouldn't have to shake their tits for an advantage over men... well I agree, you shouldn't be able to shake your tits for an advantage, but the fact of it is you can. so you go chop off your tits and I'll take you seriously.
my2ct
they tried that with homosexuality in the 80s... didn't go over so well.
So, now in your mind, you're trying to link porn and prostitution. Porn where the other person is usually younger and far more attractive than clients a prostitute gets, and for a hell of a lot less money too. Why do you want it to be legalized so bad?
It's a very simple case stated very simply multiple times, and I'm getting real bored of repeating myself, so say it with me....... ready?
Let. Women. Live. Their. Lives. How. They. Want.
Don't. Try. To. Dictate. To. Other. People. What. They. Can. And. Can't. Do.
And for the last time as I'm done with this frankly worrying thread:
If a woman can choose go to a safe place of work, with checks and regulations, security, full backup of the law etc, there is NO argument against it. None. Leaving her on her own at risk of rape or death, with the danger of being arrested is not acceptable, and I can't get my head around people who think that somehow THAT is the better option.
Society needs to take some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steps forward. We can't be stuck at this level of thinking like this.
Yet, not just women can be prostitutes, can they? So, it's not a "women's rights" thing, is it? It's whether or not we should let people with money legally exploit those without. And I say "no."
wouldn't it be nice when you walk to 7/11 on a saturday game night to grab some mountain dew and pringles, you could also rent a girl friend for a couple hours. it would be so chill.
So let them be exploited by those with no laws and no qualms about violent abuse, with no rights and no recourse.
Got it.
I'm stopping right there as if I carry on with you I'm gonna get banned.
Where those people can actually be prosecuted for said abuse, not awarded for it, and not having the defense of legalized exploitation to defend themselves with.
