There's a massive difference between abstaining and genuine inability to feel sexual attraction. I don't think you can stop feeling one of the nature's strongest urges, which is the lust to ♥♥♥♥.

It's entirely possible to not have any sexual desires but that probably mean you have some sort of Hormone imbalance. Then choices are choices but i guess some peoples wanting to fit in and get in a couple could be aroace by that logic and just did it due to social norms as well.

lust or libido is not the same as sexual attraction
i know people who are ace, meaning they don't really feel sexual attraction towards anyone, and still have a high libido, which they may satisfy through kinks and such

and even still, yes, for some people, this "nature's strongest urge" simply isn't part of their nature
and there's nothing wrong with that
