AlienWare.
Duh...

Not since they were bought by Dell.
I have an msi, 1tb ssd, 16gb, idk what cpu, rtx 3060 6gb.

Has run pretty solid so far, with cyberpunk 2077 hovering around 50fps on ultra 1080p with rtx on low. (Depending on the patch).

I do get a few bootup issues where it has a tantrum with the vram, bluescreens, then boots up as normal.

Type dxdiag in start bar. Will tell you all your specs.
Anything but Asus

I had an Asus laptop. Piece of garbage struggled to run minecraft consistently
No complaints with my Lenuvo Legion 5. Over 5 years old and still powerful. You could also in theory get a steam deck.

You screwed up at "Gaming laptop"
I mean, a laptop came in handy when my power was out

I didn’t even know it was out, then I realized it and then became a little more cautious on what things I do to save on battery, but at least I was able to play

That’s going to be one problem when I upgrade to a desktop but it is a very small issue, especially since i have a 3ds and switch it might as well not count as one

alienware hardware is notoriously garbage so i don't trust them same as razor

HP imo is neutral

everything else is 50/50 depending on the model

also avoid toshiba if they're still around
Sony VAIO and Gateway. Anyone still remember them?

my experience with asus is very positive. i have bought it in 2015 and it lasted until it finally broken down in 2020. only downside of it was it had so so sound quality

I'm still going with my dell g3 15. It's definitely outdated, but I only play indie games like BallisticNG so it doesn't matter
i prefer asus, they often made reliable hardware

it is a good option for a second pc

they are good enough to run 99% steam game

1000$ you run all steam game

so it is useful when you need another gaming pc and you lack of space in your room and dont need something too powerful to eat your electricity bill

also you can bring your laptop anywhere
