I have got into the habit of not using so many spices. There used to be more, but after you know most of it you come back to the tried and tested. Besides, you can save on spices and you can taste the ingredients of the food better. So no.

Spicy but not too spicy.

If I order a side dish and eating that side dish feels like getting stabbed in the mouth, my spicy food was too spicy. Even if I could handle it by itself.

To be honest, no. I don't get it's appeal. I like my food to be filled with flavours that aren't just spice, and I like to eat my food without sweating profusely and my face turning red. Which sucks, because I live in a place where McDonald's will offer chilli sauce with your meal before offering ketchup.
