Seriously, those CEOs that think "cleaning up" their platforms somehow makes their platforms better?

Look at how well that ended for Tumblr. They banned porn and lost 1/3rd of their userbase in just a couple of months.

Porn is just good clean fun and doesn't hurt anyone and it's incredibly hypocritical for certain CEOs to ♥♥♥♥♥ about how terrible "porn" (aka graphic depictions of entirely natural consensual acts of mutual pleasure between adults) is while they put out routinely games about violently killing people in mass numbers in brutal graphic ways. Like somehow that is more wholesome and family friendly.

Valve knows what's up. Porn may be something that "isn't mentioned in polite company" but we all know it's damn popular and something most gamers enjoy. They're smart to allow it on their platform because they know it sells and they know consumers go where the porn is.

I don't have any porn games in my Steam inventory ( Library LOL should be changed, there is nothing close to a library Valve ). I play games here that are a war sim, not a lusty stress relieving waste. I stem most of my lizard brain here or what parts of it still remain.... have my head phones on so I can hear when predators are close to me like my rodent part of my brain.

Besides "profit" idk why else those games are allowed here. Sure some people are into those type of games be it for being a meme tier game or for other purposes i assume.

Has Steam gave an official announcement of some sort, as to why those type of games were added to the store in the 1st place?

In the old days there were always complaints on the lack of mature games (rating M) on consoles. The idea was you "could" have highly mature games that werent porn and that could be great games/classics at the same time (idk, conker?). PC has always had porn games, and maybe homebrew / unlicensed console games too.

Steam allows them because they want more money and dont care much about anything else, look at all the crap games they sell.

That is not true, there is an entire adult only section of the store. And many are not censored and show genitalia/intercourse. I think you just have to enable visibility in your store preferences if it is not already enabled.
