Aww, thanks buddy. I try my best but don't post as much as I should probably.
and to answer the question. Yes I trust anime profile pictures.
only exceptions tend to be k-on pfps or otherwise loli pfps
people with those tend to be... not good company
and 3 out of 5 probably get off to that kinda stuff
However, that doesn’t inherently make them untrustworthy, as users with non-anime profile pictures that are also not of their own face also have anonymity and no one is slapping a label of distrust on them.
I do "slap a label of distrust" on everyone equally though. Everyone on the internet can be potentially a creep, weirdo, stalker or dataminer. Why should I actually trust anybody?
That was strange enough until I realized that not only was this steam user with an anime profile picture looking at me every time I looked over there, that also meant the steam user with an anime profile picture also happened to be wherever I went all day. Was the steam user with an anime profile picture following me?
I was now very nervous, so I got on a bus. I watched the door after I got on to make sure the steam user with an anime profile picture didn't get on after me. The doors came to a close, and I relaxed a little. I didn't know what to do. Should I call the police? There was a chance I would never see the steam user with an anime profile picture again. Or, there was a chance the steam user with an anime profile picture already knew where I was going.
Nonsense, I thought to myself. I don't even know where I'm going. I just hopped on the first bus that came by without paying any attention. Where was I going, anyway? Well, I decided to just ride for a while. I'd make a full circuit and look out the windows when I cam back around to the stop where I got on to see if the steam user with an anime profile picture was waiting before getting off the bus.
Finally relaxing a little at the comfort that I had a plan, I decided to look around a little, and discovered--to my horror--another steam user with an anime profile picture just a few rows behind me--staring a hole through me, just like the one before. I decided not to raise suspicions. I couldn't call the police. Not now. The new steam user with an anime profile picture would know what I was doing, and I had no idea what the steam user with an anime profile picture would do.
I looked around a few minutes later, in what I thought was a nonchalant manner, and this time found that sitting next to the steam user with an anime profile picture was another steam user with an anime profile picture. Also staring a hole through me. I turned my gaze back forward, and nearly jumped out of my skin to see the person sitting in front of me had been replaced by yet another steam user with an anime profile picture, turned around in the seat staring straight at me like the others.
Now in a panic, I punched the steam user with an anime profile picture in the face as hard as I could and, in the same motion, began to rise from my seat. That, it would seem, was a mistake. The lights went out on the bus, leaving me in pitch blackness, and I heard a monotone murdering from an entire bus' worth of steam users with anime profile pictures as dozens of sets of eyes lit up in a red glow. Knowing I couldn't escape down the aisle, I broke the window with my elbow and dove out while the bus was still in motion.
But... I didn't hit the ground. It was too dark to see anything. Was I falling? I couldn't tell. I couldn't turn my body. I didn't know if I was right-side up, or upside-down. I was merely suspended in space. It was then that I heard the murmering return. This time in much greater numbers. I heard the sound grow as the glowing red eyes faded into existence in every direction. Steam users with anime profile pictures approached me from all directions. While I was floating in space unable to reach anything, they were walking on an invisible plane.
I couldn't think. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't scream. I couldn't run. All I could do was wait for the steam users with anime profile pictures to close in on me. And then...
I woke up.
What a weird dream, I said to myself. I got up, walked to the bathroom to splash some water on my face. I turned on the water, rinsed, and looked up into the mirror to find...
To find...
