Yes and no, as it's absolutely irrelevant.
Now they could pick something stupid and not change it and cause me to unfriend them cause whatever they picked is distracting as I have to stare at it everytime I talk to them and and find it hard to believe they want to be portrayed as that pic and make friends suffer for their choice. That's happened.
I check if their profile is public or private. If it's private, nope, I can't trust them.
I found those that make the most hateful comments here have a private profile. In fact if someone with a public profile said something hateful and you confronted them, they're likely to see they made a mistake and correct it. Not private profiles. I almost wish there was an option for game forums to choose to not allow comments or posts from private profiles.
