i dont get whats up with people constantly calling people out with anime pfp,s. Like who brainwashed those people with dumb nonsense... constantly getting accused of being a pedophile only because somebody likes anime and uses anime pictures etc and pfp,s has literally 0 to do with their personality. Most of the time people with anime pfp,s like me have pretty mouch the same behavior etc as people without anime pfp,s or even not liking anime at all. For some reason I very much dislike the anime animated profile avatars/backgrounds/mini-backgrounds you can buy from the Steam store, probably because they are typically sexualized while having young looking faces. I don't trust them

It doesn't work like that. We're all anonymous on the internet. Whatever picture they picked doesn't mean a thing. It's about who you perceive that person is and their choosing to be represented by a certain pic is an indication of that.

Now they could pick something stupid and not change it and cause me to unfriend them cause whatever they picked is distracting as I have to stare at it everytime I talk to them and and find it hard to believe they want to be portrayed as that pic and make friends suffer for their choice. That's happened.

I check if their profile is public or private. If it's private, nope, I can't trust them.

I found those that make the most hateful comments here have a private profile. In fact if someone with a public profile said something hateful and you confronted them, they're likely to see they made a mistake and correct it. Not private profiles. I almost wish there was an option for game forums to choose to not allow comments or posts from private profiles.
