If it doesn’t personally affect their experience, then it isn’t an issue in their eyes. This is the reason why boycotting doesn’t work: people only care when it impacts them. People won’t “take a moral stance” on something for the purpose of a greater cause. They’ll just stop playing when they stop enjoying the game.
If it doesn't affect gameplay (like p2w, or following Activision’s matchmaking patent basing matches on if you bought mtx and somehow affecting the damage and some ♥♥♥♥ in game. Damn I never thought I’d see a game worse than Vanguard) I wouldn’t care and a boycott would be ineffective
