As a bi man I find pride month annoying.
It’s just a way for corporations to say they “support” lgbt when they actually don’t and just try and profit off it. And pride people make it absolutely obnoxious like yeah great it’s all good and all but damn just calm down. Like I get it but it’s flooded everywhere in public. No one does that for black history month so why should we?

Honestly, I don't see myself in any kind of relationship, even platonic one. I'm just too devoid of way too many emotions.

Yes a lot of gays dislike bi people they won’t say it but there actions prove other wise. I have went on date with guys where they said “I’m confused” or they don’t want there to be competition and assume I’ll cheat and prefer a woman. I’m just like ok you can go away. We get it you are insecure. (I’ve never had a problem with trans people asking those questions.)
They “don’t want completion” and “assume you’ll cheat”.

Well for starters, those issues are not exclusive to one sexuality. Someone ought to inform them that cheating absolutely happens with every group, including homosexual relationships. And claiming that it’s “competition” just because the other person is the opposite sex is ridiculous. Do they assume that if someone was in a relationship with them and was only attracted to men, they’d not find other men attractive? Ridiculous logic.

And secondly, there is more to a person being attracted to somebody than just what their gender is. Y’know, call me idealistic or a wishful thinker, but growing up I was exposed to the notion that relationships were built upon the positive impact that two people had on each others’ lives. The reason for why many would be together was largely because of how that other person made your life better, and vice versa. And that was what strengthened the connection between them, and what kept them together.

But hey, I guess the world doesn’t work that way. People now-a-days merely view relationships as something to benefit from and dispose of when it no longer interests them.
Don’t quote me on this since I’m not a woman just from what I have heard in some cases for bi and lesbian women. That the same thing happens and with lesbian women I have heard sometimes they “don’t look lesbian enough” whatever that means I didn’t know you had to have a look. And not all of them are like that. But almost every man I’ve come across besides two would always ask me one of those questions are would non stop ask me about my sexuality. Good way to get ghosted. I wanted to get to know you more not talk about what I have a preference on.

Yeah I don’t at the moment or for a very long time I self sabotage way too often and don’t trust anyone because of trauma. And thinking about being romantic or anything with anyone at the moment makes me feel gross.

I, on the other hand, have only met one gay man who gave a ♥♥♥♥. Though, to be fair, the only other bi man he had ever dated cheated on him with a woman, so his worries were due to a "precedent", so to speak. Every other gay man I've met didn't care.
Becuase ppl still cannot accept them ,that is why it existed :steambored:

Blame the ppl from 20th century :steambored:

At least the racism is pretty much gone (except some rare cases) so nothing to do here
pride month is like christmas, u can choose which parts u want to add and which ones u dont, u dont need to spend any money at all, corporation can only leech off u if u let them take the decision from u:lunar2019grinningpig:
yeah

businesses will glam on to anything that will make them money, like christmas

does not negate the thing in itself

and remember, you are only so free to say who and what you are because of those before you that sacrificed so much to make this happen

I agree with your post.

it's the reason you see so much 'opposition' and 'push back' from the people who arent LGBT, etc. people don't want to be forced to have to see and hear things constantly they don't agree with or want to be apart of.

Its like religion. So many people are sick of it because they are sick of being preached to daily and having it in their face 24/7. its off putting and does NOTHING to help. its literally divides people more and more.

Do what you want on your own in private, etc. seriously no one cares. No one cares about your religion, no one cares your an atheist, no once cares your a satanist, no one cares you like women, no one cares you like men, no one cares you think you are a spaceship. NO ONE CARES.

again, the issue is when its crammed down everyone's throat 24/7 continually to make people or force them to 'accept'... this will just cause conflict like you are seeing, dislike, and eventually just literal hate.

be or believe or whatever you want, but stop cramming :DSTpoop: into peoples faces like some annoying billy mays commercial.

people allow it to get them riled

i am not a christian

i do not celebrate christmas

i also do not get pissy when i see a tree or commercials for wrapping paper and the like

there are just angry people out there that can easily enjoy the site of a rainbow without worrying why it is there
