It's funny but when someone talks to me I tend to watch their lips with occasional eye contact what's funny is I have a good hearing... aside from tinnitus but it doesn't bother me when I'm out and about, just when everything is quiet.
Most peoples doing that are deaf or almost deaf and do lip reading but I don't, I just find lips more interesting than eyes I guess loll

Not just you, that's how the human brain interprets such things.

It's weird I generally avoid eye contact in social situations because most humans (at least Americans) are like rutting warthogs who take it as some kind of a challenge. I would rather just be left alone. I might briefly make eye contact with my boss or something but mostly I'll look at their neck or the top of their head or something.

But I think intense eyes are beautiful in women. I would love to stare into a lady's eyes.

I guess it's intimate? It's not something you should just do to anyone.

A lot of Americans will say it's important to make eye contact. But these are the same people who have turned socializing into some weird form of combat where you need to have a handshake with hulk level strength, and say all the right things, and stand for all the right things, and dress sharp in a nice suit, and never seem weird, and if you're alpha enough you can climb the ranks of the social ladder to a six-figure income that you did absolutely nothing to deserve because you're a talentless hack who only knows how to intimidate people.
