Which of these animes do i force my normie friend to watch?

[King Of Lolis]

To keep it short theres a special day of mine in 2 days and hes gonna come chill at my house.
Given we usually eat pizza at his house and watch whatever he puts on, il do the same when we eat pizza and put on my show but i dont know which one might appeal to him.
So choices are:

Fate/Zero
My favorite series besides JoJo and i want him to watch this one given its the only good Fate part but he dosent like king Arthur being a female.
Not to mention first episode is like 54 minutes long.


Cowboy bebop
A classic and he likes space stuff so this might interest him.

Vinland saga
One of best stories out there but it only gets good like after 6 episodes when main character is more mature.

Hellsing ultimate
Who dosent like vampires,especially Alucard. This might interest him but just like Fate, first episode is like 50 minutes long so he might lose interest



So, whats best option for him?
He dosent like anime but he does quite enjoy JoJos bizzare adventure and One Punch Man

Cowboy Bebop has the most popular appeal for normies, but you have to take the individual into account when making a recommendation so I would've said Fate/Zero since he likes a mature story. A somber Gen Urobuchi story would've probably hit just the spot in consideration of that and Kiritsugu's just the right kind of pragmatic bastard I think, plus Saber is kinda cool. Not that I know too much about Fate/Zero mind you. Just saw a few volumes of the manga in the library once.

I can't comment on Vinland Saga at all, except to say that you're probably not going to be able to strong-arm a commitment of 6 whole episodes for something just to start to get good, esp. without a good payoff. That's like 50% of a season for many shows, and you'd be better off picking something a little faster paced, at least for starters.

The underlying themes are quite mature and reflective, as is the way with Shinichiro Watanabe

Indeed but zero also might be a bit complicated for a new viewer.
Especially the rules and the 3 major families who created the whole thing

Not to mention he dislikes saber cuz of whole genderbend thing

If I had to recommend an anime to a normie (besides JoJo I mean, but you say that he has already seen it...) I would probably tell them to try Cowoy Bebop maybe. I don't know, personally I don't like it, but I believe it is similar to what normie people usually like.

Personally I would rather watch JoJo again one more time, but I understand you cannot ask a normie something like this :P

well, i'd say Vinland. but only because of my personal experience, i don't know what your friend is into. but my friend who hated everything anime, instantly fell in love with Vinland due to the fact that he watched Vikings and similar shows.
