Do you still find movies fun to watch?

I haven’t been hyped for a movie since Avengers Endgame, after that no other movie peeked my interest since then.

What about you?

Edit: I gotta say that Avatar 2 was the only other movie that got me hyped for it. I was hyped for the Super Mario but was left disappointed because it really sucked.

I also liked Sonic The Hedgehog movies, can’t wait for the third one.

I also watched The scorpion king with Rock Dwayneson. It's one of his first movies so he's still billed as "The Rock".

It's pretty good if you like sword and sorcery stuff, it made me laugh and has good action.
Also many very good looking women.

I enjoy movies and still go to cinemas. Sometimes it's just nice to get out of the house and experience cinemas once again. The last time I went, it was John Wick 4 and the cinema was almost completely empty.

I do occasionally order some BluRays alongside with other stuff from Amazon, especially when I "need" something to get to the free shipping amount.

So, things get a bit random as I look through whatever is cheap-ish and looks like it's something for me. But that could also be a good thing, of course.

New movies? No...

Old movies? Yes... that's all I watch now, I don't even care to give new movies a chance...

People that restrict their tastes are boring and should try the occasional new movie. I like some old movies, I thought that Ghostbusters: Afterlife was quite faithful and fun, I liked it plenty. The newest Saw movie "Spiral" wasn't that good, but it's hard to have a good Saw movie without Kramer (and who's idea was it to put Chris Rock AND Samuel L Jackson in a horror thriller?! Too funny).

I'm pretty open minded to most kinds of movies if you look at my imdb page (on profile). But, i'm kinda a movie connoiseur who don't give 10s that easy. But, from my given 10s i think most categories are represented.

I do heavily prefer macabre and disturbing movies with great acting tho (or over the top B-movie style can be really great too).

yes movies are fun to watch. there are good new movies and bad new movies, just like there are good old movies and bad old movies.

the new D&D movie is just a good fun movie. as are a lot of others.

I never get hyped for a movie unless it's star wars but I still enjoy them

I liked Guardians of the Galaxy 3. By no means a timeless masterpiece, but it was a fun film about blowing stuff up in space, and I kinda liked baby Rocket, lol.

I wanted to see Creed III but I couldn't get to the theater before it stopped showing.

The only other thing that looks interesting is the Ninja Turtles movie, but... Seth Rogan ruins everything he touches so, I'm not sure I want to watch it.

I agree with this, seth rogan is vomit in human form.. isn't is crazy how some actors just grate on you. i feel this way with ryan reynolds too. talk about one note. hes never funny, annoying, same look in everything. i don't understand how hes even an actor. i'm sorry i don't get it and avoid anything he is remotely involved with.
