Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat?

Which do you prefer? Personally, I like the story and gameplay a lot more in Mortal Kombat. Plus, who doesn’t love finishing your opponent with a gruesome finisher?

Nah.. that is a boxing game, I love that as well, but Street Fighter actually took a lot of its inspiration from Karate Champ.-

It really is. There is actually a link between many modern games as well and old classics.

I can't stand all the childish melodrama in Mortal Kombat.

I never liked the Street Fighter story much, or seeing Chun Li's lipedema get worse with every release. But early MK games had a nasty case of input reading which made them less fun to play.
