Looking back Zoë Quinn, Anita Sarkeesian & Co. was right.

Reevaluating our values as responsible gamers

It's difficult to look back on how male gamers reacted to the whole ordeal without cringing hard. In hindsight they were right about the level of toxicity in male dominated gaming culture.

But we have grown as gamers and we have grown as males. And we are now finally able to understand women's criticism of our favorite hobby.
We have matured and we are ready to improve, act better and be better.
On the behalf of so many gamers we should all admit that we were in the wrong and that we were privileged. Ignorant and privileged.

The year is 2023. The whole videogame industry has changed marketing and changed how we play a videgames. Changed gaming into something better.
Gone are the days of only male dominated voices and exclusion (a remnant of the 1980s and 1990s) good riddance.

Women, queer and non-binary gamers and developers are raising their voices and demanding change. And we are all better for it.
A big big sorry and a heartfelt apology from all of us male gamers to all of you who suffered from our exclusionary childish behavior (I always kept it real tho).

Looking forward to a happy future where all gamers are accepted for who they are and for new progressive opinionated voices on how the gaming industry should be improved.

We Are All One Big Gaming Family These Days. Thank you for changing your ways.

She dragged the industry back into the dark ages, back mature themes weren't allowed in a mature world, way back to the Joseph Lieberman days, except instead of turning children into sadists, you're turning grown men into misogynists.

She has quite the history, a whole binder of it. I can't remember all of it, nor want to. It's old news, but not celebrated.

You don't speak for all of us so don't act like you do, I do not agree to this forced apology for actions I never took part in and as such don't expect future acceptance on the attempt.
