That's a waste of money unless you have something really serious to hide lol.
Not really, free VPNs are slower than my grandma in a walking race, and shes dead. (RIP nanna)
If you want any sort of speed you need to pay for a VPN, otherwise theres no point in using one. Not everyone with a VPN uses it for dodgy stuff.
I wasn't saying that, I've used one myself long ago - mostly to bypass download limits, so I didn't have to wait hours for another download.
It seems a bit pointless to pay for one, though. Opera and some other browsers come with a free, built-in vpn.
And someone already has it, most of the time.
Well, that's what I was used to think before I've learned something about what's done with our datas ... Do you know there is criminals groups who buy old hard drives to scan them for usefull datas from companies and even regular guys ? And that's just an extreme example here, but there is a lot of bad usages of the datas you leave for everyone to feed on.
Still, I don't use a VPN myself, not because I don't care about my datas, but because I know VPN are useless for the average citizen. They're usefull for companies mainly, but the regular guy have no use for that kind of software in reality. It exist to create a virtual private space on the internet for some kind of intranet networks for companies, but still being able to go on the regular internet from the same computer. In companies where security matter most, the computers don't use windows and are separated from the internet completely (in nuclear plants for example).
Make the average guy think he need a VPN is mostly a scam based on his fears to be spyed on. That's why you should always keep your cool and take rational and informed decisions. That's the main difference between paranoid and carefull peoples, carefull peoples don't let their fears drive them.
Pff, these people will not be interested in a hard drive from a random nobody. Besides, passwords obviously aren't stored there so the only thing they can possibly get is some nudes
only rely on them if you are pitifully unaware
