Bill forgot the Sunset Clause...
Reminds me of a video I saw of this person who went to an anti-gun march with a sign asking what guns we should ban. They had pictures of various guns, about half of the guns were from movies and not actually real gun...some were pretty blatantly not real guns...and people kept pointing to unreal guns because they looked scary and suggested banning them.
By the incorrect definition of how the left are redefining assault rifles the guns used in the most recent shooting would NOT have been banned. Those guns as pistol ammo...which are what the majority of the mass shootings use...pistosls
An assault shotgun is not the same of an hunting shotgun, an assault rifle is not the same as an hunting rifle. If it was then this law would literally outlaw hunting in all 50 states and that sure as hell would never happen in the US, you can take guns away but good luck to taking them all away, it will be the Waco Siege all over again at that point.
It's impossible to move forward until the people who are wrong admit they are wrong and apologize for being wrong.
The people who are right are waiting.
^ This is a great point and an excellent case for making automatic weapons legal.
