Why do people think banning guns will do anything?
Like seriously, what will banning guns really do to solve mass shootings? We already have a test group of people who are not legally allowed to own guns, those people being felons. Yet you see felons all over the place armed, if we make it illegal for all people to have guns the people who still want guns will just do what the felons did to get a gun illegally. It's called the black market and it's why despite drugs being illegal, people are still using them. So what will banning guns really do other than take away guns from the honest people who will only acquire a gun legally?

Edit: People don't get the fact that America has had guns since its literal birth, our founders said, "Yeah, everyone can legally have a cannon if they want." Yeah, countries that never had guns in their veins will find it quite easy to outlaw all of them, they were never there to begin with. Our founders encouraged our people to go out there and get a gun. Guns are every where in America and it's been like that forever. Not every country is like that and that is why banning them worked so easily. It's just not that easy for America to do at this point, try and take a gun away from a man who doesn't want to give away his gun, see how that goes, you better go in armed yourself, but you won't be, because you are actively trying to outlaw them...

None of the banning all guns and disposing of them is impossible on itself, what's actually preventing it from happenning are the peoples themselves. Peoples also saying it's a logistical nightmare yet Australia ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did it anyways.

Australia population, borders, are the same with USA.

Maybe you need to go rest up more, I figured you were gone after your epic, overdramatic "See ya kid" not that long ago, but here you are talking to me again. I guess I should be flattered you like me that much.

Yet here you are, replying to me. And yes, your "see ya kid" did sound pretty overdramatic, like someone trying to be cool.

That's right. Actually, it was a right wing government in Australia at time of Port Arthur massacre.

The government issued issued gun buy back scheme and crushed the guns.

And hey presto, Aussie kids don't need to go to school in an armoured tank and dodge armour peircing bullets.

Anti-Gunners: I bet the founding fathers had no idea what a machine gun was.

https://youtu.be/BDZ6ujYN610
Founding fathers =/= Jesus. The son of God has the last say. "Thou shalt not kill" and "Love thy Neighbour". Ring a bell?
Thou shall not commit murder, big difference. Because the bible also tells people to take up a sword if need be, and if you don't have a sword sell stuff to buy a sword.

There was various multiple fire weapons at the time of the writing of the Constitution. Ever play Assassin Creed games? in black flag you couuld get a Pucket gun, which was a multishot cannon that fired fairly rapidly. They also intended people to be able to own cannons.

ANd for your information machine guns are a movie/video game term, we don't really see machine guns being used in crimes. All those mass shootings used semi-auto not full auto...again a huge difference. The average anti-gunner is so uneducated in this field that they think they're banning machine guns when they actually have very little understanding of what they're actually banning.

3D printer for the lowers- cost of filament
Online market for the uppers. About $175
AR, MAC 11, all of them, super easy.

Actually very cheap to make a weapon now. That's without even turning on the CNC.

Just saying.
You're going to destroy their fragile narrative with your logic.

it worked for australia, they had ONE mass shooting, and took away the guns.
and wouldn't you know, it worked.

and the argument of "what about black market guns?" doesn't hold up, because black market firearms are about as expensive as a new car.

How did it work for Nazi Germany?

Jesus would not approve child murder! Law makers are responsible for this, they're the child killers moreso than the nutjobs who pull the trigger because it keeps happening.

Another excuse. In France we do have peoples get illegal weapons from time to time yet mass shootings hardly happen.

It works in the United States too. this mass shooting problem is a direct program created by the anti-gun movement. These zones are anti-gun zones. These mass shooters aren't trying to attack the President, or a bank or a police station, they're picking schools, in fact the most recent mass shooter picked one school over another because the other school had better security.

Obama had the CDC do a study on guns and they found between half a million and 3 million lives on average are saved every year by guns. That far-far-far outweighs the negatives.

I'm kind of surprised gamers of all people wouldn't use common sense over an idea like this. If a video game village is in trouble or bad guys are coming do you disarm the people protecting the village or arm them better?

Common sense don't apply here, bold of you to assume it would.

People love using EU as example (yet they prolly never set a foot here but anyway) but choose to completely ignore the extreme amount of insecurity, assaults and murders in many places because law abiding citizens are striped from any way to defend themselves while criminal roam free with guns, knifes, or such.

Meawhile, in Switzerland is legal to own a firearm (but regulated) and there is no such mess as in the US.

Guns aren't the problem, people are, sorry to the people from US but seems like you're just not educated and / or reponsible enough to own guns and should reconsider the laws.

Of course Jesus wouldn't approve of it, he'd tell people to arm up. It literally says that in the bible.

So even Jesus would support protecting our schools with guns. The only folks these mass shootings are on, are people who don't want our children protect and are anti-gun.
Did you know that the anti-gun movement in America first started with ex-Confederates looking to disarm black people and thus they created a series of laws called black codes some of which included restricting black people from owning firearms.

That's pretty nasty especially back in the day when a gun could be your primarily method for hunting for food.

The population of France compared to USA 67M VS 331.9 M
What the homicide rate? 1.3 vs 5.

By firts look is medium, unless you take into the account the population number, which happen if france had the same population as USA, by calculation the homicide rate of France would not be that far of USA. But do tell.
