When talking about IQ the numeric score really doesn't matter - instead what you actually want to look at is what percentile within the population that score on that test correlates to. There are several recognized IQ tests and each test's scale/numeric values can vary. Because of this, Mensa for example, doesn't actually set a "numeric score" as the standard for which you will be accepted into their ranks but rather their standard is a percentile standard (specifically the 98th percentile or above).
