If you want 140s you'd have to go looking into the Triple Nine Society. I met a member once and they were sharp but also very much on the spectrum.

There are a few other 'prestigious' ones for the true brainiacs but the tests start losing accuracy past about 140 so those are more of a 'by invite only' situation. I have never met any of them.

Mensa only accepts the top two percentile of the overall world population, as determined by an acceptable I.Q. test, so maybe O.P. didn't quite make the cut and thus had to resort to us fools as the next best thing.

If anything, the opposite. At the risk of sounding arrogant, the only thing more tiresome than someone that is used to being the smartest person in the room is someone who who only thinks they are.

I toured the local chapter/branch/whatever and it was just a few people sitting in a room solving puzzles and playing chess. I'd already discovered video games by then, so I declined their invitation.

I also seem to remember that it was going to be expensive and that my parents were reluctant to pay that much for what was, effectively, an after-school club.
