A DMCA claim takes the whole thing out of Valve's hands.
There's nothing "good will" to be done. Valve is required to do so due to Nexon's DMCA.
You already have the official explanation, it was removed because of a DMCA claim. Thats as official as you are going to get. They are not going to say anything here, they are not going to message you and tell you anything more.
Legally Valve HAS to remove them when they get a DMCA claim because that is the law. If the claim ends up falling through, the game will be back, but if its legit the game is gone for good. Its up to the lawyers of who ever filed the DMCA to battle it out with the lawyers of the developers/publishers/who ever put it up on Steam.
Valve can't and won't get into the fight.
When have they NOT? Whenever people object to a 'suggestion' by pointing out various illegalities, the reply is always basically "so what?". People who believe 'the customer is always right' propaganda seem to honestly think that customer demands are above the law. Heck, 'stories about bad customers' sites have many stories about customers demanding stores break the laws of physics!
No. They cannot make sales of the designated content until the DMCA is resolved. It's literally illegal. Hence Ironface's legal team currently working on countering the claim.
DMCAs are something they have to deal within a reasonable amount of time, and something that appears to have merit is usually acted upon fairly quickly.
2) It does not matter a single dime how much you've spent on Steam. If publishers / developers go rogue and Valve has to take action because of the law there is not much money can do.
3) What exactly is your suggestion here? Because this is a suggestion forum which should be used for Steam related suggestions.
You don't understand how DMCAs work. You also don't seem to understand EVERY site that they would sell anything connected to this would get a DMCA, even if they were selling it on their own site and they would have to stop selling it or get in even more legal trouble.
While this is going on its illegal for them to sell anything connected to the DMCA.
