Winter is objectively superior, summer is the depressing one.
There, I said it.

It's true that summer is the depressing one from my point of view, but winter isn't really any better.. Is it?

It's like poking yourself and opening up the deep wounds, if you ask me.
You do meet up with other family members on Christmas, and then you do miss them because you've had such a great time together? What a disappointment..
You're having fun throughout the year with your classmates, and then all of a sudden.. You're no longer meeting each other for most of the summer, unless you do make up some plans, and even those plans are gonna result in a limited time that could be spent in each others' presence.
And, another fact is that you'll have to leave them all behind once you graduate, which is another depressing stage one has to go through.

It does almost make autumn shine the most..

**My bad.. I completely forgot about the mosquitos!
Summer is the worst, period.

Did you just say that Winter isn't any better because it's so good that you would miss the good times? That just shows how good Winter is.
I don't know.. It's kinda fifty-fifty.. But summer is worse in the end.. As one won't cool themself down as easily as it is to get X layers of clothes to feel warm during winter.

I don't know.. It really depends on what does a person do.
I can't swim during winter, but I can spend hours behind the desktop without feeling the need to go outside;

Exactly. Suddenly, I can actually live and do things without constantly feeling like I'm about to pass out.

Technically, you can swim in Winter, but can you do all the stuff that involves snow in summer? Exactly, you can't. I actually go swim when it gets "colder" (more like less unbearable) and after the sun goes down, it's incredibly refreshing and feels infinitely better. Believe me, I live right by the sea, Mediterranean climate.

I appreciate all seasons. It's a part of our beautiful solar system and nature.
Yet winter and summer are the most unbearable seasons. Both have different upsides and downsides, but they both have unbearable temperatures. Spring and autumn are my favorite.
I would say that summer is ever so slightly more bearable than winter. Miss me with your "but you can put on more clothes when it's cold".
I don't want to put on a hat, gloves, a scarf, 3 layers of clothing, and still feel cold in some spots when I can barely move or breathe. I'm just trying to go outside for 30 seconds to do something and I have to equip gear for a whole battle against snowflakes.
If I'd have to choose between hot and cold, I'll choose hot thank you very much. Nothing wrong with a refreshing breeze though!

Ew.

Also, this is the only political debate where I can proudly say I have the most extreme possible viewpoint.

Depends, a white Winter is charming but I haven't experienced a white Winter in forever. On the other hand Summer is usually my favourite season but it's been hard to enjoy it to the fullest in recent years due to how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hot it's been

I'm not so sure.. I don't live by any sea, and I sure wouldn't have been able to take any colder water than it is already in our swimming pool, where it's at about ~26°C.
If I stop for a minute or two, I get cold, and won't get to feel warm ever again, no matter how fast I try to swim.. But that's probably just me and my poor thermoregulation.
And, on the same level, I wouldn't have been able to handle water above ~29°C, as I'd have felt no comfort in constantly feeling so hot.. Drinking a lot is an option, but that's a poor choice aswell, as running back to and from toilet each thirty minutes or even sooner is simply not an option, if I wanna swim.. Which means to swim at least a few kilometers..

Not to mention, I can't get my hands and feet warm during winter, no matter what do I do.. They do always feel cold, but they do never feel unbearably hot during summer.

I don't mind missing out on the sports and stuff you can do with snow.. I don't participate in them for years, so I'm fine with that.
you should read diffferent magazines , cold weather will lead you to depression status , people in cold places are highly to have depression with low social skills.
Warm Weather is Safer ,your mood improves in warm and sunny weather
Sunlight signals the body to produce more of the hormone Seratonin. Seratonin is not only important for regulating body temperature, sleep and appetite, but also your mood. It is proven that nice weather makes you happier.
Melatonin is the body’s sleep hormone. With little sunlight, your body produces more melatonin, which makes you feel tired. However, when the sun rises, your melatonin levels decrease, making you feel energetic and alert!

I am, and I was a lot into soccer.. I've even trained the proper techniques of shooting while running, proper technique of passing, how to do some tricks, and stuff alike..
Unfortunately, physical sports are a tabboo in my case due to my current health state.
