I don't know.. It really depends on what does a person do.
I can't swim during winter, but I can spend hours behind the desktop without feeling the need to go outside;
I can swim during summer, but I can't spend hours behind the desktop as I do feel the need to go outside.
Exactly. Suddenly, I can actually live and do things without constantly feeling like I'm about to pass out.
Technically, you can swim in Winter, but can you do all the stuff that involves snow in summer? Exactly, you can't. I actually go swim when it gets "colder" (more like less unbearable) and after the sun goes down, it's incredibly refreshing and feels infinitely better. Believe me, I live right by the sea, Mediterranean climate.
Ew.
Also, this is the only political debate where I can proudly say I have the most extreme possible viewpoint.
If I stop for a minute or two, I get cold, and won't get to feel warm ever again, no matter how fast I try to swim.. But that's probably just me and my poor thermoregulation.
And, on the same level, I wouldn't have been able to handle water above ~29°C, as I'd have felt no comfort in constantly feeling so hot.. Drinking a lot is an option, but that's a poor choice aswell, as running back to and from toilet each thirty minutes or even sooner is simply not an option, if I wanna swim.. Which means to swim at least a few kilometers..
Not to mention, I can't get my hands and feet warm during winter, no matter what do I do.. They do always feel cold, but they do never feel unbearably hot during summer.
I don't mind missing out on the sports and stuff you can do with snow.. I don't participate in them for years, so I'm fine with that.
Warm Weather is Safer ,your mood improves in warm and sunny weather
Sunlight signals the body to produce more of the hormone Seratonin. Seratonin is not only important for regulating body temperature, sleep and appetite, but also your mood. It is proven that nice weather makes you happier.
Melatonin is the body’s sleep hormone. With little sunlight, your body produces more melatonin, which makes you feel tired. However, when the sun rises, your melatonin levels decrease, making you feel energetic and alert!
