It depends on specifically what YOU want to contribute to that site.

If what you want is to promote your own work and get jobs, artstation among others (there are some manga-based sites but I'm not familiar enough with them to say).

If what you want is to view your friends stuff and comment, deviantart is still the best.

If ... all you want is to look at pretty pictures, google and tumblr.

Furryaffinity if you're not scared or into that,not rules against humans in there art...i have a few furry friends and its a interesting experience learning from em

If you do furry art Furaffinity is definitely a superior option to DA, people don't steal artwork there, they allow you to upload music, writing, and crafts as well. All around great website. Only downside is that sometimes the site gets DDoSed to the point where the protection cant do anything. This is extremely rare and happens like once a year though.

If you aren't a part of the furry community though I see a lot of artists posting on Twitter.
