nostalgia is just remembering past times and more specially, stuff from those times that don't exist anymore and ppl would be glad to have them but not to the point that they don't enjoy what they have now. mostly good stuff yeah but some also remember bad stuff and i dont think they are very sad for not having these.
when you say its not real you mean in the sense that its just remembrance.
in that case memories aren't real either. actually thoughts aren't real either, not just nostalgia, dreams aren't real either. yeah all these things aren't real, they don't exist pragmatically.
but hey no problem remembering stuff from our childhood that made us feel good ^_^
but for that to happen you have to have some age first to actually remember your childhood.
I used to watch this as a kid and was amazed at what they tried to do with a hamster and Guinea pig
The episode with the diving bell sub was the best
little big planet soundtrack, minecraft soundtrack

Though anything sonic makes me nostalgic, but the old PS2/2000s era of sonic especially. If we ever got a collection of that era, I'd never ask for anything ever again.
My neighbour says he loves the sound of rain drops on a tin roof
