I don't know , Killing Floor 3 already has a steam page while looking like an Unreal engine 5 game.

pretty sure the only games which gonna be a timed exclusive on Epic are things where Epic themselves consider to be worth having as an exclusive , I doubt they get these for free.

Developers that are sane enough and know they already have their players base on steam probably will certainly hesitate to give epic an timed exclusive.

yea, still remember that. IIRC when it lauch at EGS the story is not even complete yet.

Can be bypassed easily. You say your publisher is Valve and according to the terms you can publish your game on Steam and Epic simultaneously, exploiting their program.

Doesn't really make a difference - I guess this will just be another filter that prevents people from buying junk games early on Steam, since we will have 6 months of reviews to indicate whether the game is good or not

All a desperate ploy to compete with Steam, but the reality is their platform is garbage and people will leave as soon as they've collected their free game. Looking at statistics though, very few people are willing to install that adware even for a free game.
