I would agree that most people just want to chill and have a good time, though relationships do happen. I'm comfortable sharing that my boyfriend and I met on Steam, as our relationship is pretty terrific and we've been together for quite a while. Steam seems to be the most efficient way of meeting good people outside of your country without the desperation. I hope it never becomes a 'dating site'. After all, we're here to game.

I can imagine it now. a user says they are female, another says they are male, so they finally hook up for a first date. and discover they are two middle aged men with no self-esteem, revolted by each other presence, desperate to enjoy themselves with an imaginary 20 year old fit female gamer.
