The footage in all the videos shown always had loads of enemies around the player. It looked like D2+. But when you play the game its like the complete opposite.
You run around with little mobs to kill in-between and vast amounts of footwork to get from NPCs to others. I played WoW some years ago and this is exactly how it plays out.
Unfortunately, this isnt the game I wanted. Last Epoch, even with its downsides, is superior to D4 in all aspects that make for a great ARPG ... which came totally unexpected.
Kinda like this game to be honest.....i see loads of quests that send me from point A to point B with probably an over the top amount of enemies that somehow can do more damage than what their bodies are capable of and if you don't the right combo and the right time you die.....that is how it is with this game, if you don't find the right combo to take out the tougher enemies...you will die ALOT.
For me, i found Sentinel with Multistrike skill points put into Void Cleave, then at 4 stacks of Multistrike, i use Void Cleave and that gives 100% damage increase which is doubled with a 2h sword/axe.
I have tried the other classes in this game and none have that omph.....i think Sentinel is my thing......the secondary classes seem....meh.
All these abilities that do dumb things and i am like 'why have it there?' I never understand it sometimes.
