Thoughts on next gen PS6 and next gen XBOX?

What do you think the PlayStation 6 and next gen XBOX will be capable of doing? Honestly I think there is a limit to what consoles can do. But at the same time, I never thought consoles would be able to run Ray-Tracing and yeah...

I'm more interested in next gen Nintendo because they are always innovative.

The life span of the PS5 will PROBABLY be another three years. ( at least. )

I think the next gen will very heavily incorporate VR.

While a bit dramatic, a lot of this is already happening.

I'm not sure traditional hardware will entirely die, but a large portion of the world values convenience over ownership.

Steam and Netflix are perfect examples of this.

Xbox, Steam, Nvidia, Nintendo and PlayStation all have streaming included in their packages, and grow and integrate them with core features more every year.

Right now, if you buy a Samsung TV of a certain model , you can connect a controller and stream games with Xbox live/gamepass

Stadia failed because it required people to have faith in something that was unproven and then invest in it.

Xbox won't ask anyone to invest in their cloud.

They'll include it as a feature ina product that already has value.

That's why I never throw away any old tech, the kind that first came out. Whatever runs fine with those is precious, and the parts will not be found if they are damaged.

With just giving my credit card info into online anything, I get my whole privacy under attack, definitely not gonna link my brain into something just to play a game.

Something is very wrong with most people these days, they seem to have lost the ability to think for themselves. There is absolutely no need to keep trying hard and "inventing" something new every 3 years, just sit back and enjoy what you got at-least for 10 years, otherwise you're just buying dreams not actual inventions, as they take more than dozens of years.

People will live in tiny pods, wear clothing assigned to them and eat food prepared for them.

Their entire daily routine will be planned for them and their thoughts will be controlled.

Just imagine the joy of being incapable of feeling any negative emotion, never feeling that something is missing in life or wrong.

They won't even know anything about the past or feel the need to think about the future.

They will never have to worry about anything because their life will be safe.

Who could not be happy with life like that?

I think Sony is going to keep trying, & their going to keep failing.
PlayStation 6 will be all Digital? No??
