I completely disagree.
Twilight Princess is infinitely better than any other Zelda game ever made.
And Link's awakening is much better than the 3 you mentioned. Probabluy other ones too. Ihaven't finished Majora's mask because all the time travels / time resets make it too difficult and frustrating and I don't have te patience but probably I think Majora's Mask remake (3DS) is the second best Zelda game.
Ocarina of time is obscenely overrated. All the 3 games you mentioned have aged very poorly. Most N64 games have aged very poorly, the graphics at least, and Ocarina oof time had many other problems too not just the graphics.
And yeah. It is open world. So were a fair number of the games, including the very first. You never can tell what you are going to run into.out there. I still find stuff I've never seen and I've been playing for years.
Don't care for it? Quite alright. It's just not your thing. I loved it. And I am sure I'll love TotK.
Idk if I buy dlc for two of my games
Buy a steam game and buy dlc for one of my games
Or buy Tears of the Kingdom
I don't think Twilight Princess is as good as the N64 titles, the Windwaker, or even the newest titles.
After finishing the tutorial area. It's quite promising. Although they copied basically the entire gamedesign from the lost plateau in that you have to search shrines in a small area of the map.
But the new abilities are way more interesting than the ones in BOTW.
But I don't want to take away too much. Just don't be as stupid as I was when I bought Zelda botw ~1.5 years after it released. Watching way too many youtube videos on it and already having all the fun of the game taken away from me when I finally played it.
While Nintendo has made some questionable decisions with their IPs over the years. (unfinished games and such) Nintendo's mainline Mario and Zelda games were all extremely good games, as they exactly know that those are system sellers.
Do you seriously think that hundreds of people only come up with a game the size of a DLC after 5 years of development time?
And even if, then I highly doubt what the houndreds of people in Nintendo's AAA studio were doing over the last 5 years or so since development started.
