New Zelda this week. Are you pumped?

I could be crazy but I don't find it appealing. Open worlds don't do it for me, nor do a lot of puzzles.

Perhaps I'll change my mind.

It is not, BOTW is one of the most overrated games ever made. If you, like me, are one of those who considered Ocarina of time overrated, well, Ocarina of time is NOTHING compared top BOTW. The way it was received seems almost fair compared to BOTW. BOTW is just outrageous.

tbh you kinda remind me on how i react to new vegas. except i didn't consider fallout 4 to be better. just getting backfired

Hard to feel pumped when Nintendo's been so secretive about marketing the game that we barely know what it's about or what makes it different from last game. Fusing stuff looks cool and Ganondorf is almost as sexy as I hoped, but I'm not super thrilled about going thru BotW's 7/10 (At best) map and gameplay design without the promise of decent dungeons or fleshed out characters.

I heard rumor they’re bringing dungeons back and there’s about 5 of them. This has me most excited.

I thought that BotW was a good game. I played it a lot. It was very not Zelda though. Again, still enjoyed it. I’ve rarely not enjoyed a Nintendo first party IP. I’ve liked every Zelda game I’ve ever played, though there’s a few I haven’t played yet.

I’ll be picking it up after work on Friday. Look forward to playing it and seeing the new mechanics.

Orcaina Of Time are the only good ones.

The only good Zeldas are actually II, ALttP and Oracle of Seasons (not Ages, just seasons)
