A sensible answer thank you..
I'm not quite a full on atheist but not quite a full on believer either..... I'm somewhere in the middle. I do believe in God but that's as far as I go.
Gen X is failure and nihilism, this isn't disputed, just look at who represents them, Kurt Cobain who wrote their anthem, he mumbled, and is gone.

Seriously, dude. Your arguments always break down to "these people suck, these people are losers, and those people over there, well..."
I mean, seriously, grow up.
Its incredible how well your posts simply characterize the argument against that generation.

The issue is when biblical literalism and YEC comes into play. They try to argue that the earth was created a little after the point that the Sumerians figured out Cuneiform (which must've been quite the thing to witness), and that every biologist on the planet has no idea what they are doing, along with most geologists, physicists, chemists, archaeologists, and historians. It's the same as flat-earthers, everyone but us is wrong and if we pretend that the evidence against us doesn't exist, then we can say we're right and sell apologetic books to the gullible.
Even worse, they then think that public schools should teach their pseudoscience even though that would fall under religion and not science, but usually they want the former in there anyways which is its own can of worms. That's how you end up with "Christian Private Schools" that exist for the sole purpose of indoctrination, that then try and force through legislature to take away public school funding, because our schools aren't already having enough problems.
Case in point, my state going into a state of emergency because we're about to lose 20% of the state budget to tax cuts, and then legislation for what I just mentioned is killing public schools even further by removing funding that's already being stretched thin.
*mindblown*
