but two types of gaming are not really comperable. You play competitive for other purposes than casual. Sometimes you dont want to play in competitive way, you want to have nice, calm thing and then casual seems better.
PvP games being very competitive require tons of hours to master details of gameplay. I've spent several thousand hours in World of Tanks totalling some 35 000 battles (if I remember correct). And I never consider this a lost time... but at some point I thought that playing Cities Skylines is better choice. Hell, I even play games like Hidden Folks or Hidden in times and I love them... while cant really compare them to games like WoT or Hunt or whatever PvP you mention.
If you prefer to play games competitively, That awesome! Go for it, have the time of your live!. Heck, i go so far and cheer for you to become the next Pro player every teen looks up to!
It's gaming, there is no right or wrong, there shouldn't be gatekeeping it's about having fun and enjoyment.
Play what you like, this isn't a competition.
True that! The thing is, both competitive and casual serve specific needs. Casual gamers are the lifeblood of the industry, and comprise the largest segment of the gaming community. Competitive gaming is there to keep the Alpha players occupied while the casuals go about spending money and enjoying their games.
there is no such thing as casual gaming and not caring. if you lose like 10 games in a row ranked or casual you are gonna get mad. saying you don't is a life since its a animal instinct to get mad at losing or unfairness, it is also a animal instinct to use the easiest way to win which devs should be watch and controlling better.
this is why i love from software, they cap stats so you don't abusive them. ds3 was like 27 to 99 is 100 hp more. it is a smart way to force the player to invest the stats in other places to get more value.
yet we get games like b4b that has no hp card cap so you just go ham and make 100 hp to 400 hp.
saying i can't make money, yet how do you know i have not already made money from gaming? i could be a game dev, streamer/youtuber, pro player. the list really goes on.
i feel like you are trying to talk in a field you are not educated in but try to hold some ground.
