My first handheld console was an original Gameboy, my first home console was a Nintendo 64.
Even if I liked Super Mario 64 I did not find any other game that I liked on it and so I was very disapointed and started to hate it very soon. That also made me forget about Mario 64 and start hating it as well for being on that console. Now I like a lot Super Mario 64, Doom 64 and Paper Mario but overall I still don't like the Nintendo 64. Those 3 games are great but still not enough to aooreciate a console and on top of that the original version of Doom 64 had many problems that made it a lot less enjoyable than the modern edition thankfully is. After the N64 I bought (I asked my parents to buy for me obviously) a PS1 and I loved it back then.

Later when that was found and summarily destroyed by the luddite boomers, he smuggled me an old PSX... which they also eventually found and destroyed.
Gee that plan to help me 'grow out of' vidya worked great, didn't it guys?
