Hi everyone. One academic study showed that gamers typically don't wash their hands for 30 seconds with soap and water in between matches when they go to the washroom.

When you play a game like Call of Duty and have to use the restroom in between matches, do you wash your hands for a full 30 seconds? If not, you're not destroying the germs enough.

For example, if you only wash for 10 seconds because you don't want to miss your match, you're not clean and you're getting your germs everywhere.

Have you thought about this? I'd like your opinion please.

I know some people say you should wash your hands for 20 seconds, but who has time for that? Not me, that's for sure. I'm a hardcore MMO gamer, and every second counts when I'm raiding with my party. I can't let them down by being AFK for too long. So I just rinse my hands for like 3 seconds, maybe use some soap if I'm feeling fancy, and then I'm back to slaying dragons and looting chests. Sure, maybe my hands are not the cleanest, but hey, it's not like I'm touching anyone else. Life of an MMO gamer is rough, but someone has to do it.

Typically I do hot water for 30 seconds. If I'm in a hurry I have hand sanitizer literally in every room of my home.

I haven't used the washroom without washing my hands in years. It takes like 20 seconds.

I shower twice a day and always wash my hands after working on peoples computers to fix them. Not only from the lead but you don't know how clean a persons house is. I swear this one guy brought in his pc and was letting his bird perch on it. Had feathers inside and bird crap on top. So i wash my hands for 30 seconds. So during a normal business day i might was my hands 10 times.

I have my feet in soapy water to stay clean.

I have a smart sink and toilet, it washes and uses ultraviolet light as a form of chemical free disinfectant. I also use hand sanitizer when I'm out, and typically wear gloves with a mask.
